Remembering Gratitude #71...and a Small Peek Into Our Week

I am grateful:

for being able to celebrate my beautiful oldest daughter's 12th birthday this week!!

for my creative girls

Jenna worked on another Sunbonnet Sue applique project on her own

Lauren worked on a small project while we were watching a movie one afternoon

girls did some fabric shopping when we were out for Jenna's birthday

for our relative good health, despite fighting colds this week

for our warm home (I just wish it didn't cost so darned much to heat it!)

for good food to eat

for reliable vehicles to drive

for our jobs so we can pay our bills

for plans to grow more of our own food, including some discussions with one of my brothers about some cooperative growing arrangements

for being able to discuss all sorts of problems and plans with David

that David washes dishes  :)

for fun games

Jenna bought this game with some of her birthday money  :)

for good books

if you haven't read any books by Byrd Baylor, you should...LOVE these!

that we've gotten the last of our Christmas decorations packed away...

we've had the tree put away since shortly after Christmas, but we had some other decorations out still...it was time to put them away!

for doing the work of reorganizing our finances a bit and setting a few goals

for paying off our car!!!!
